Andrew Soman is a concept artist for animated film and interactive media. Hailing from the island of Trinidad, Andrew currently resides in Los Angeles, where he works freelance, developing compelling character and environment designs. From the age of 8, Andrew discovered the magic of visual narrative to move people in a way that few things could. He resolved then that he would join the ranks of the imaginative masters, and share his love of storymaking with the world.
After graduating summa cum laude from Montclair State University in illustration, Andrew decided to return to his love of animated film and set his sights on a master's degree at Savannah College of Art and Design. Andrew's thesis work surveys the environment around the rapidly expanding field of transmedia storytelling.
When he isn't caught up in imagining new worlds, Andrew can be found cooking, playing board games, and waiting for it to rain.
